Discover Ypres with a city game!
Historical events, 100 years ago
For the entire duration of World War I, Ypres was surrounded on three sides by German troops. British soldiers called this arch in the front Ypres Salient. The Menin Gate is the silent witness to 14-18, and bears the names of 54,896 missing soldiers.
Ypres as your teambuilding base
In the Cat City, you can fortunately experience a lot of our city games today. A playful and interactive way to discover Ypres with your company is with Checkpoint City or GPS City Challenge. For both activities, you will be given a smartphone which maps out your route of experience. Your quiz performance will be tested and the photo and video assignments will contribute to the right team spirit.
In memory of the fallen, the Last Post is blown every evening under the Menin Gate. Fortunately, you do not perish in the virtual city games such as Mafia City Battle and Shoot Out, and the weapons have become GPS phones.
